our story
Christenburg & Co began with a simple idea and a whole lot of heart. Founded by Brooke Christenburg, our journey started not in a boardroom, but in a kitchen — with a few bars of soap and a dream to make a difference.
Brooke’s passion for helping others, especially those with Down Syndrome, led her to create a nonprofit that gives back in every possible way. What started as a small batch of homemade artisan soaps quickly grew into something more: a movement fueled by community, compassion, and purpose.
We don't just sell soap — we create change. Every product is made by hand, with care and intention, and every single dollar of profit is donated to local Down Syndrome charities. Beyond our products, we organize events, volunteer our time, and support families and organizations who are making an impact in the Down Syndrome community.
